Rush Twp. police report theft arrests

Rush Township police report the following arrests for thefts.

Joseph R. Holland, 28, of Pottsville, is facing retail theft charges after allegedly stealing $118.96 worth of merchandise from the Hometown Walmart on Aug. 10 at 7:55 p.m.

Jeffery Swiger, 43, of Pottsville, is facing retail theft and receiving stolen property charges after allegedly stealing more than $800 from Walmart over a two day span. Swiger and Anthony M. Crespo, 32, of Pottsville, left the store and state police at Frackville stopped them on Interstate 81. Crespo was found in possession of stolen property.

Police filed charges against Leanne Micklesavage, 20, of Barnesville, for theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and access device fraud for allegedly stealing jewelry and an ATM card from a residence in Barnesville. The theft took place on or about Aug. 6, police said.
