Tamaqua hires coaches

The Tamaqua Area School Board made several coaching appointments at its monthly meeting Tuesday evening.

Keith James, Tamaqua, was hired as assistant boys soccer coach.

Ashley Stanek, Hometown, was appointed as a second assistant swimming coach.

Kyle Oliver, Andreas, was retained as assistant boys tennis coach.

Sam Schaefer, Tamaqua, was hired as first assistant track and field coach.

Timothy Murphy and Thomas Fort were approved as volunteer assistant football coaches.

Bobby Whitley, Nesquehoning, was approved as a volunteer assistant boys soccer coach.

Brady Forte, Nesquehoning, was approved as a volunteer assistant golf coach.
