Underage drinking in Summit Hill

Two teens were caught underage drinking in Summit Hill.

According to borough police, on Aug. 15, at 2:10 a.m., officers observed two individuals wandering the streets of Summit Hill. An investigation revealed that the two had consumed alcohol. One individual was a 15-year-old male from Nesquehoning. He was charged with underage drinking and curfew violation. The other individual, Thomas Devitt, 18, of 22 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, was charged with underage drinking.
