Pocono arrests
Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on the following arrests made by officers recently.
On Saturday, Aug. 14, about 11:27 p.m. officers responded to Cotswood Drive in the Pocono Farms East community for a domestic incident. On arrival officers spoke with a 17-year-old female from Tobyhanna, who had been arguing with a male, later identified as Daniel Corsitto, 21, of Vacation Lane, Pocono Summit. The argument was over a laptop computer, police said.
Police said Corsitto, the teen and another person at the scene, Gabriel Garcia, 18, of Cumberland Drive, Tobyhanna, were all under the influence of alcohol.
The female and Garcia were cited for underage drinking and Corsitto was cited for public drunkenness.
Police reported on three persons arrested for retail theft at the Wal-mart store in Mt. Pocono in two separate incidents.
On Friday, Aug. 13, about 3:38 p.m. officers were called to the store by security for a person in custody for theft. Cited was Lidia Gallegos-Carrasco, of Pocono Lake. She allegedly attempted to leave the store with items from the cosmetic section without paying for them.
On Sunday, Aug. 15, about 9:46 p.m. officers were called to the store for two women in custody for theft. Cited were Christian Butler, 22, and Angela Gleason, 33, both of Allentown. Both were charged with attempting to remove $175 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it.
