Monroe break-in
State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary and an attempted burglary at two Monroe County locations.
The break-in occurred at the residence of Julia, 37, and Sean, 39, Adams, Pine St., Saylorsburg, Chestnuthill Township. The home was entered sometime between 8:38 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. on Aug. 17. Property was removed, troopers said, but did not indicate what was taken.
The attempted break-in occurred at the PPL substation located at Allan Court, in the Fall Creek Estates, in Chestnuthill Township. An unsuccessful attempt was made to enter the building sometime between Aug. 13 and 20, troopers said.
