No injuries in Schuylkill crash

No one was reported injured in a two vehicle crash that occurred about 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 22, along SR125 in Tremont Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Jeffrey A. Updegrove, 46, of Pine Grove, was driving a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am southbound while negotiating a left hand curve. The vehicle crossed the double yellow line and partially into the northbound lane when it sideswiped a 2003 Kia Sedona operated by Brandi L. Kelley, 27, of Coatesville, Chester County, who attempted to avoid a collision but could not, troopers said.

Troopers cited Updegrove for meeting a vehicle proceeding in the opposite direction.
