DUI arrests reported by PSP
Several driving under the influence (DUI) arrests were reported by state police at Lehighton, all occurring on Saturday, Aug. 14.
Troopers said Tayna Nicole Peters, 25, of Walnutport, was stopped along SR248 in Palmerton for a traffic violation. She was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. Troopers said charges will be filed. The time of the stop was not indicated on the police report.
Susan M. Craigie, 30, of Jim Thorpe, was stopped about 12:18 a.m. at Fairyland Road and Church St., Franklin Township, after being observed driving irratically. She was found to be under the influence and transported to the barracks for a breath test, which she failed, troopers said. Charges are pending.
At 12:58 a.m. troopers stopped Barron Muller, 53, of Albrightsville, along SR209 at Vixen Drive, in Polk Township, Monroe County, for a traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence, troopers said, and charges will be filed.
At 2:26 a.m. Susan L. Steinhauser, 29, of Lehighton, was stopped along White St at Bank St., in Bowmanstown, was being observed driving irratically. She was found to be under the influence and taken to the barracks for a breath test, which she failed, troopers said. Charges are pending.
