August 31, 1985 Fred Cerimele scores two touchdowns, one on a 50-yard interception return and the other on a one-yard run, to help Panther Valley gain a 23-14 victory over Lehighton. Buddy Ligenza leads the Panthers' rushing attack with 68 yards while Gary Karnish follows close behind with 67, including a six-yard TD run. PV, coached by Joe Leonzi, also receives a 33-yard field goal off the foot of Rich Zabroski.
