Four facing charges in Monroe

Four persons are facing criminal charges, including drug counts, following an incident in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked at 5521 Iroquois St., in Tobyhanna. Upon arrival officers spoke with the driver, James Bolar IV, 22, of 7144 Seneca Way, Tobyhanna. Bolas and three passengers, Kristian Richetts, 19, of 7737 Lake Rd., Tamar Smith, 20, of 9238 Westwood Drive, and Keith Wilson, 18, of 6117 Iroquois St., all of Tobyhanna, had been smoking marijuana.

Upon further investigation, a large amount of marijuana was found.

Bolar was taken into custody and charged with various drug counts. The other three were released but will also be charged, police said.
