Dog law violation

State police at Fern Ridge said a Monroe County man has been cited for a dog law violation.

Troopers said the incident occurred about 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 305 Witch Hazel Way, in Jackson Township. Troopers allege two dogs owned by Patrick McGoldrick, 57, of Stroudsburg, went onto the property of Laura Pitti, 48, of the address stated, and nipped at the victim's dog. Troopers said McGoldrick did not have his dogs leashed or in verbal or physical control.

He was cited for confinement of dogs under the state dog law code.
