Monroe collision

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a two-vehicle crash about 12:47 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 29, along SR209 in front of a Rite Aid pharmacy store, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Patrick Stier, 32, of Stroudsburg, was operating a 2008 Dodge Ram truck southbound when James Rodgers, 66, of Effort, operating a 1997 Chevrolet Geo, pulled from the Rite Aid lot into the path of Stier. The front of the Ram struck the passenger side door of the Geo. No one was injured with the Geo towed from the scene.
