Pocono arrests

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on the following arrests made by officers recently.

On Monday, Nov. 29, about 1:28 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop along SR196 at Carriage Square, in Tobyhanna, for a vehicle code violation. A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Eugene Sarno, 21, of Tobyhanna.

A check revealed he had an active warrant for his arrest issued out of Monroe County for a parole violation. He was taken into custody and placed in the county prison in Snydersville.

On Friday, Nov. 19, about 11:53 p.m. officers were dispatched to 7975 Deerfield Drive, in Tobyhanna, for a domestic incident. On scene officers made contact with Renie A. Noel, 33, of Tobyhanna. Police found marijuana and drug paraphenalia inside the residence during an investigation. Noel will be charged with the drug offenses, police said.

On Thursday, Nov. 25, about 3:02 a.m. officers were dispatched to a complaint at 1107 Valley View Drive, in Blakeslee. Upon arrival officers found Mark Wodz, 35, of Blakeslee. He was highly intoxicated to the point he was a danger to himself and others around him.

He was placed under arrest for public drunkenness and transported in the county prison pending arraignment.
