Theft of ATV, break-in probed
The theft of an all terrain vehicle (ATV) and a burglary are being probed at two Schuylkill County locations.
State police at Frackville said the ATV was stolen from the property of Caine Brobst, 29, of 31 Farm Lane, Barnesville, Ryan Township. A 2003 Suzuki Z400 four-wheeler was removed from outside the residence sometime between 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8, and 7:30 a.m. on Thursday.
The burglary occurred at the home of Louis Getz Jr., 32, of 348 Roosevelt Drive, Mahanoy Township, Mahanoy City. Unknown criminals entered the home sometime between 6 p.m. on Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. on Thursday and removed money, troopers said.
