Hometown couple celebrate 25 years

Mr. and Mrs. John F. Gurcsik Jr. of Hometown celebrated their 25 wedding anniversary on Sept. 7. They were married in St. Theresa's Catholic Church, New Cumberland, by Msgr. Joseph W. Leary.

Mrs. Gurcsik is the former Mary E. Coogan, daughter of James and Selina Coogan of New Cumberland. Her husband is the son of John Gurcsik of Cape May Court House, N.J., and Teresa Gurcsik of Sicklerville, N.J.

The couple has four children: Eileen M. Gurcsik, John F. Gurcsik III, James M. Gurcsik and Michael P. Gurcsik.

A dinner in their honor was held at La Casa Dolce, Tamaqua, hosted by the couple's children.
