Palmerton police issue citations

Disorderly conduct

Eleanor Schmick, 51, of 140 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton (last known address), was cited for disorderly conduct. The violation occurred on Nov. 15 at 12:59 p.m. at the above address.

Criminal charges were filed against Marcus Sauerzopf, 27, of 528 Columbia Avenue, Palmerton, for persistent disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The incident occurred on Nov. 21 at 2:42 a.m. in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue.

Public drunkenness

Aaron Howard, 28, of 244 S Chestnut St., Summit Hill, was cited for public drunkenness. The violation occurred on Nov. 10 at 1:55 a.m. in the 1300 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Speeding

Jesse Sterling, 39, of 272 1/2 N. Eighth St., Lehighton, was cited for speeding. The violation occurred on Nov. 27 at 9:06 a.m. on SR248 east.

Citations were issued to Eleanor Figuccio, 23, of 594 Sandy Shore Drive, Mount Bethel, for expired inspection and speeding. The violations occurred on Nov. 27 at 10:40 a.m. on SR248 east.

Traffic violation

Citations were filed against Mahfoudh Alzageruri, 25, of 7 Bridge Road, Shawnee on Delaware, for careless driving, driving at safe speed, and stop signs and yield signs. The violations occurred on Nov. 26 at 6:20 p.m. at Sixth Street and Delaware Avenue.

Dogs running at large

Robert McFarland, 41, of 835 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, received two citations for dogs running at large. The violations occurred on Nov. 6 at 4:22 p.m. in the 800 block of Delaware Avenue.

Vehicle violation

George Ackerman, 43, of 114 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, was cited for expired registration and expired inspection. The violations occurred on Nov. 27 at 2:20 p.m. in the 400 block of Delaware Avenue.

A citation was filed against John Schaeffer, 39, of 3996 Charles Drive, Danielsville, for expired registration. The violation occurred on Nov. 28 at 3:14 a.m. on SR248 east.

Blaine Kirchner, 47, of 690 Club Road, Palmerton, was cited for required financial responsibility, violations of use of certificate of inspection, driving under suspension, and unauthorized transfer or use of registration. The violations occurred on Nov. 19 at 6:48 a.m. at Columbia Avenue and Charles St.

A citation was issued to Alex Vargas, 39, of 637 Patten Circle, Albrightsville, for expired registration. The violation occurred on Nov. 26 at 6:03 p.m. in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.

Adam Cebrosky, 23, of 340 Lehigh Avenue, Palmerton, was cited for driving under suspension and expired registration. The violations occurred on Nov. 20 at 8:11 p.m. in the 300 block of Lehigh Avenue.

A citation was issued to James Smiley, 38, of 125 W. Broadway, Apt. 2 front, Jim Thorpe, for expired registration. The violation occurred on Nov. 15 at 9:53 a.m. in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.

Scott Semmel, 64, of 1005 Charles St., Palmerton, was cited for expired inspection. The violation occurred on Nov. 27 at 12:54 p.m. in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.

A citation was issued to Sandra Lucas, 41, of 205 Pine Cove Court, Lehighton, for expired inspection. The violation occurred on Nov. 24 at 5:19 p.m. at Fourth St. and Lehigh Avenue.

Bethann Vanwhy, 46, of 754 Church St., Apt. 1, Palmerton, was cited for expired registration. The violation occurred on Nov. 24 at 5:33 p.m. in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.

A citation was issued to Ashley Leidy, 22, of 340 Lehigh Avenue, Palmerton, for expired driver's license. The violation occurred on Nov. 24 at 5:19 p.m. at Fourth Street and Lehigh Avenue.

Yvonne Anthony, 50, of 1670 Lower Smith Gap Road, Kunkletown, was cited for expired registration. The violation occurred on Nov. 26 at 8:46 p.m. in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.
