Theft of vehicle reported in Monroe

State police at Lehighton are investigating the theft of a vehicle in Monroe County.

Troopers said a 1995 Hyundai Accent two-door coupe was stolen from in front of a residence along Astolat Road, in Polk Township, sometime overnight of Dec. 10-11. The 74-year-old female owner left the doors unlocked and the key in the ignition, troopers said. The car has state registration plate DVE-5321.
