Tamaqua couple celebrate 60 years

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Vlcek of Tamaqua recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

They were married on Dec. 2, 1950.

Mrs. Vlcek is the daughter of the late William and Edna Brown of Tamaqua. Her husband is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Dubrosky of South Tamaqua.

Both are retired from the former Atlas Powder Company, Reynolds.

The couple has a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Bernise Vlcek of Tamaqua. They also have two grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
