Wallet left on counter is stolen

The theft of a wallet that a customer left on the counter at the Dunkin Donuts store in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, is being investigated by state police at the Fern Ridge barracks.

The incident happened at 10:48 a.m. Dec. 18.

The victim is Molly Rouse, 30, of Lehighton.

She told police a man who appeared to be about 40 years old, wearing a blue jacket and baseball cap, took the wallet after she set it down. He left the store in an unknown direction.
