Friedensburg man facing charges

Haley G. Sippel, 18, of Friedensburg, will be cited by state police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks with failure to drive at a safe speed and driving without a license after a traffic accident Dec. 17 at 10:57 a.m. on Panther Valley Road in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County.

Police said he was driving a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero east when he lost control of the vehicle while exiting a curve. The car struck an embankment with its right front bumper, began to spin clockwise and came to rest facing southeast.

The vehicle sustained damage to its two front tires and left rear tire. It was towed from the scene.
