Edgar Castillo and Brooke Costello
Dimps and Val Hawthorne (Bowman) of Dillsburg, Pa.; and Steve and Kathy Costello of Reading, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Ashleigh Costello to Edgar Castillo, both of San Antonio, Texas.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Victor and Madalyn Bowman of Lehighton and the late Marina and Esteben Costello of Palmerton.
She is a 2005 graduate of Westchester University, where she received her RN, BSN in nursing.
She is currently employed as a nurse and also as a part-time personal trainer.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Rosa Castillo-Flores and Camilo Claudio-Castillo of Houston, Texas.
He is employed by the federal government, training Army medics at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
The couple are both prior military service members.
A spring 2011 wedding is planned.
