Home in Monroe is burglarized
State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating a burglary that happened between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Dec. 22 in Jackson Township, Monroe County.
The victim is Eric William Steuer Jr., 57, of Bartonsville.
He told polilce someone forced their way into the front door of the residence at 102 Golden Slipper Road and stole a Folgers coffee container with various U.S. currency in it (estimated to be about $50) and a coo-coo clock worth $100.
In additon to the estimated $150 worth of valuables that were taken, police estimate $150 worth of damages were sustained at the home.
