New Ringgold couple wed 40 years

Mr. and Mrs. William C. Stahl of New Ringgold celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Dec. 19. They were married in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Coaldale, by the Rev. Sacks.

Mrs. Stahl is the former Julia J. DeSantis, daughter of the late attorney Paris J. and V. Mae (Garber) DeSantis. Her husband is the son of the late William C. and Margaret (Bashore) Stahl.

The couple has two daughters: Patricia J. (Stahl) Clifford and Marianna J. Stahl. They also have three grandchildren: Bryce, Bryn, and Baylen Clifford.

A dinner was held in their honor at the West Penn Fire House, Andreas, hosted by the couple's children.
