Copper piping stolen in Monroe
State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating the theft of cooper piping during a burglary at a residence in Polk Township, Monroe County.
The victim is Janet George, 81, of 4245 Lower Middle Creek Road, Polk Township.
Police said someone damaged a side door of her residence to gain entry to it and proceeded to remove about 100-feet of the piping. They fled the scene in an unknown direction.
