December 27, 1993 Mike Baumgardt scores a game-high 20 points and pulls down five rebounds to help Palmerton gain a 62-52 victory over Catasauqua in the opening round of the Slatington Rotary Tournament. Baumgardt tallies eight of his points during a 19-4 third quarter that give the Bombers the lead for good. Trent Everett contributes 12 points while the winners, coached by Jerry Snyder, also receive 10 from Eric Bollinger.
