Polk Township home is burglarized
State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a burglary that happened between 5:05 and 9:30 p.m. Dec. 24 at a residence in Polk Township.
The victim is Phyllis V. Wandell, 83, of Kunkletown, who resides along Shafer Drive in the township.
Police said someone forced their way into the home through a rear door and once inside proceeded to ransack the entire residence. The actor(s) removed jewelry before fleeing the scene.
