Retail theft cases are investigated

State police at the Fogelsville barracks said they were summoned to the Wal-mart store in Lower Macungie Township three different times before Christmas to investigate shoplifting incidents.

Police said at 4 p.m. Dec. 23, Isiah Manns-Atkinson, 22, of Allentown, was caught trying to leave the store without paying for $119 worth of merchandise.

At 1:40 p.m. Dec. 24, Barry Wayne Brown, 34, of Allentown, was apprehended as he tried to leave the store without paying for $12.97 worth of items.

And at 7:25 p.m. Dec. 24, the store's loss prevention officers nabbed a male individual who tried t place four video games in a black purse and leave the store. That individual was not identified by police.
