Quiet title actions
All State Asset Management, LLC, 1933 State Rt. 903, Jim Thorpe, had filed six complaints in quiet title, seeking the court to issue orders and decrees that state the plaintiff is the legal owner of properties listed in the complaints, and enjoining the respective defendants from having any claim or right to the properties.
The defendants and the properties at question are:
Derek Thorne and Dawn Eure, Allentown, Mount Pocahontas Lot 2720, Section 4, Penn Forest Township.
Tito Marin and Magaly Marin, North Bergen, N.J., Towamensing Trails Lot 635, Section V, Penn Forest Township.
Ronulfa H. Morris, Teaneck, N.J., Pleasant Valley West Lot 523, Section E, Penn Forest Township.
Cathy L. Bennett, a/k/a Cathy L. Urie, Upper Chichester, Pa., Little Gap Estates Lot A50, Ironwood Road, Lower Towamensing Township.
Lorraine M. Marouchoc, 221 W. Broadway, Jim Thorpe, property at 227 W. Broadway, Jim Thorpe. Also named in the suit as a defendant is the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, Harrisburg, which, the complaint says, is a named lienholder of a mortgage on the property.
Fausto Guevara, Brooklyn, N.Y., property at 77 Broad St., Lot L4, Beaver Meadows. Also named in the suit as a defendant is the green Point Mortgage Funding, Inc., Novato, Calif., which, the complaint says, is a named lienholder of a mortgage on the property.
In each of the complaints, All State Asset Management says it purchased the respective properties, that were previously owned by the defendants, at an upset tax sale conducted by the Carbon County Tax Claim Bureau.
