George and Susan Marcin of Lehighton have announced the engagement of their daughter, Kerri, to Lee Hopkins, son of Lee and Jeanette Hopkins of New Egypt, N.J.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Palmerton Area High School and The Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in education.
She is employed by Wells Fargo at its corporate center in Raleigh, N.C.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of New Egypt High School in New Jersey and West Chester University, where he played football and completed a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.
He is also employed by Wells Fargo.
