Driver escapes serious injury on I-81

The driver of this car escaped serious injury Saturday morning after rolling the vehicle along the southbound lanes of Interstate 81 in Delano Township. The crash occurred just before 11 a.m. at the 134.6 mile marker. The male driver apparently lost control while driving in the slow speed lane then slid across the two southbound lanes onto the center berm where it rolled coming to rest on its roof. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
