Mother and son both cited

State police at Schuylkill Haven said a mother and son were both cited following an incident at the residence.

Troopers said on Sunday, Jan. 31, about 5:15 p.m. they responded to the area of 60 Cadbury St., in Palo Alto. Troopers said Irene Miller, 65, and her son, Mark Kruppenbach, 41, reside next door to each other.

Troopers said Miller complained to Kruppenbach that he was playing his television too loud and requested he turn it down. When he failed to do so Miller disconnected the television service to both households.

Kruppenbach then confronted his mother and a minor physical confontation occurred. Also, Kruppenbach smashed the door window on the home of his mother.

Both were issued citations for harassment, troopers said.

Troopers said at 2:50 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 1, Kruppenbach was cited for playing his radio so loud that is caused a disturbance for his neighbors. He was issued a citation for disorderly conduct.
