Two teams undefeated
As the Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission's winter basketball rolled into its second week, Service Electric continued lighting up the scoreboard with a huge victory over ESRC Summer League Champion R.R. Frey Services, while Joe's Place continued it's surprising start to the season with a win over Schaeffer's Harley Davidson.
Two King's Pizzeria and University Legendz also broke into the win column on Wednesday night.
R.R. Frey Services-Service Electric
In a battle of league powers, Service Electric took control early and jumped out to a 41-21 halftime lead, en route to a 65-58 victory over R.R. Frey Services.
Service Electric's Jeff Peel buried four treys and led all scorers with 23 points. Joe Schaeffer tallied 15 while Jeff Krushinsky added 12.
For R.R. Frey Services, Ryan Achenbach and Jeremy Frey scored 13 points apiece.
Joe's Place-
Schaeffer's Harley
Joe's Place doubled its win total from last season and improved to 2-0 with a 55-50 victory over Schaeffer's Harley Davidson.
For Joe's Place, Peter Balogach scored a game-high 21 points, while Matt Minnich added 11 points, including two clutch three-pointers late in the game.
Jamell Boyd's 17 points led Schaeffer's, while John Vadyak chimed in with 13.

Blazosky Funeral-Two King's Pizzeria
The new look Two-King's Pizzeria started its season off on the right track with a 59-54 victory over Matika's Lawn Care/Blazosky Funeral Home.
Jon Scheuer scored 20 points to lead the Two King's offensive, while Mike Ruggeri and Warren Teasley chipped in with 14 and 12 points respectively. Ruggeri went a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line in the game's final three minutes to seal the victory.
Jim Barron's 15 points topped Matika's. Danny Matika added 14 in the loss.
University Legendz-Cuz-N-Joe's Place
University Legendz rolled past Cuz-N-Joe's Place by a final score of 59-37.
Matt Scarcella's poured in a game-high 17 points to lead University Legendz, while Mark Fowler netted 13.
For Cuz-N-Joe's Place, Mike Malloy's 12 points led the way.
