CMVT defeats PV

Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech outscored the Panther Valley girls 13-2 in the final quarter to pull out a 42-36 non-league basketball win on Saturday.

It was the only game played on the local schedule with other events postponed after Friday night's snowfall.

Despite the loss, Dana McFadden had 17 points for the Lady Panthers. Demi Ogozalek added 15 points.

For CMVT, Justine Hook had a game-high 18 points, while Charlene Hook backed her up with 14.

Panther Valley salvaged a 51-17 win in the JV game as Doreena Cullen had 15 points.
