Woman cited for use of panic alarm

A Monroe County woman was cited for excessive use of a panic alarm.

State police at Fern Ridge said Yolande Charlette Sassane, of 117 Laurel Court, Tannersville, continually used her panic alarm to alert police to hearing noises in her home. She was advised that using the panic alarm for hearing noises was a miscuse of the alarm system.

The incident occurred during the period 11 p.m. on Feb. 1 and 2 a.m. on Feb. 2.

She was cited for disorderly conduct.
