Crash on Blue Mountain Dr.

State police at Lehighton reported investigating a one-vehicle crash along Blue Mountain Drive at Lower Smith Gap Road, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, on Feb. 4 about 11:45 p.m.

Troopers said Jennifer J. Tell, 24 of Northampton, was traveling south and failed to negotiate the right curve. Her vehicle struck a rock located east of the road and then traveled southwest approximately 10 feet and came to a final rest in the northbound lane facing southwest. No injuries were reported. She was charged with driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed.
