Piggy bank robbery

State police at Lehighton are investigating a burglary reported at the residence of Kyle D. Heydt, 27, of Palmerton.

Sometime between Jan. 30 and Feb. 4, unknown persons entered the residence through a front door and removed $10 in quarters from Heydt's daughter's piggy bank in her bedroom.

Nothing else was removed or disturbed in the residence in Lower Towamensing Township.
