A big step was taken by the Panther Valley School Board last night to help preserve 90 jobs at the Kiddie Kloes, a landmark Lansford dress manufacturing plant. By a unanimous vote, with David Hiles and Chet Michalik absent, the directorate agreed to cut the back taxes, penalties, and interest owed the school district from $17,142.17 to $8,561, payable over a three year period, thus opening the door for George Collie & Associates, a Buckingham Township, Bucks County firm to buy the building that houses the plant.
