Hehn family forest stewards

Jim, Amy and Jacob Hehn of Andreas have been recognized as forest stewards by the Pa. Bureau of Foresty, Forest stewardship is the wise management and use of forest resources to ensure their health and productivity for years to come. Frank P. Snyder, service forester for the foresty bureau of Pa. DCNR, presented the award at Hehn's stewardship forest in West Penn Township. Snyder said the Hehns have been managing their 38 acre forest for wild life, recreation and timber products.
