Palmerton Area Democratic Club welcomes Palmerton Mayor and members of Council

The Palmerton Area Democratic Club's Jan. 12 meeting featured a panel exploriing "Issues Facing Palmerton" with the Mayor and members of the Palmerton Borough Council. Topics discussed included creating more opportunities for the community to get to know the police force, ramifications of the plan to develop the former Zinc Company West Plant site into a new high tech Industrial Park potentially creating 600+ jobs in five years on this internet hot spot, and praise for Borough Manager, Rodger Danielson for running one of the most efficient and effective borough governments in the region.
