Health reform is necessary

Dear Editor:

It is very troubling to hear people say that health reform is unnecessary. Are costs constantly rising? Are out of pocket expenses continually rising? Is the number of uninsured continually going higher? Are more and more people receiving less and less care?

The answers are all " YES " . Why then do our elected officials, both Republicans and Democrats, keep stalling and saying " NO " ?

Please act now on behalf of those who are in great need! The time for talking must give way to action. American lives are hanging in the balance!
