DUI arrests reported
Two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests have been reported by state police at Lehighton.
Troopers said about 1 a.m. today they responded to a report of a disabled vehicle along SR248 eastbound at Parryville. Upon arrival troopers found John Moser, 26, of Lehighton, the driver, to be intoxicated. He was placed under arrest. The DUI charge is pending, troopers added.
At 1:18 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 14, Terry W. Peters, 40, of Kunkletown, was stopped along Delaware Avenue at Sixth St., in Palmerton. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was then transported to the Palmerton Hospital for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending, troopers said.
