Theft of car hood probed in Monroe

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the theft of a car hood in Monroe County.

Troopers said eric Provosty, of 2457 Nelson Drive, Effort, Chestnuthill Township, reported the racing style hood with scoop on his 1986 Ford Mustang was stolen sometime between 5 and 10 p.m. on Feb. 5. The hood was attached using four pins. It also has a crack in the fiberglass along the front of the hood. It is blue in color.
