Theft, mischief incidents probed
A theft and two acts of criminal mischief were reported to state police at Lehighton.
Leon Paul Hughes, 51, of 27 High Point Drive, in Kunkletown, Polk Townsihp, Monroe County, reported the tailgate from the rear of his Dodge Ram truck, black in color, was stolen sometime between midnight and 8 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 12, while parked at his residence. The tailgate is valued at $300.
Robert Paul Smith III, 18, of Kunkletown, reported the windows on his truck were smashed while parked at the Kunkletown General Store, in Eldred Township, sometime between 11:30 p.m. on Friday and 6 a.m. on Saturday.
Tammy Snyder, of 39 Silver Springs Blvd., in Kunkletown, Eldred Township, reported her mailbox was damaged sometime around 10 p.m. on Friday.
