Julie Wagaman named January's Girl of the Month

Julie Wagaman of Walnutport, a senior at Northern Lehigh Area High School has been named the Slatington Woman's Club January Girl of the Month

She is active in her school's softball and cross country teams, Spanish Club, National Honor Society and Girl Scouts.

Julie has won Honorable Mention Colonial League Pitcher, Northern Lehigh High School Most Outstanding Pitcher, Blue Bat Award, Bronze Award, Channel 13 Player of the Week and Morning Call Player of the Week.

She enjoys playing any sport, hanging out with her family and friends, hiking, running, volunteering at the Walnutport Canal and Playground.

She hopes to go to Misericordia University after high school and earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After college, she wants to come back to the Valley and work at Lehigh Valley Health Network.

She is the daughter of Michele and Dean Wagaman and has an older sister, Rachel.
