St. Patrick's Day Parade committee making plans

The St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee of Jim Thorpe and Carbon County, Inc., is currently making plans for the 13th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade to be held on Sunday, March 14.

Any group interested in participating in the parade should contact Julie McDonald, 570-325-3942.

The deadline to register for participation is Monday, March 1.

The grand marshal dinner will be held on Saturday, March 6, at 6 p.m. at the Grand Ballroom at Kelly's Irish Pub, Lansford. This year's grand marshal will be Hugh Dugan, Jim Thorpe.

Tickets for the dinner can be purchased by contacting Noel Behan, (570)325-4563, or Ronald Sheehan, (570)325-4244. The public is welcome to attend.
