Summit Hill man must go to court for allegedly touching women
A Summit Hill man who allegedly inappropriately touched three women while passing them on a borough street had charges against him bound over for Carbon County Court yesterday.
Nawaz Muhammad, 57, of West Ridge Street, is facing three counts each of indecent assault and harassment.
Hearings were held for Muhammad yesterday before District Judge Casimir Kosciolek of Lansford. Kosciolek ordered all the charges against Muhammad forwarded to court.
According to testimony, Muhammad grabbed three different Summit Hill women by the breast.
One incident happened in the unit block of East Ludlow Street.
The other two incidents occurred in the vicinity of the Ludlow Street park.
The women said when he approached them, he hugged them and then grabbed their breast.
Muhammad was arrested and charged by the Summit Hill Police Department.
