Carbon burglary

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary at a Carbon County residence.

Troopers said the home of Marvin Nicholas, 62, of Nosirrah Rd., Albrightsville, Penn Forest Township, was entered by forcing open a front door. Removed were several silver pieces of jewelry from the master bedroom. The incident occurred sometime between 9:03 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18.
