Schuylkill woman facing charges
A Schuylkill County woman is facing charges following an incident that occurred about 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18, at 12B Tremont St., Tremont, in Reilly Township.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said Tawnya Bowman, 33, of Hegins, arrived at the above stated address and got into an argument with the resident, Brandy Clay, 27. During the argument Bowman allegedly punched Clay in the facial area knocking her to the floor. Clay was able to get Bowman off of her and called Connie Walters, of Tremont, who came to the residence. When she arrived she told Bowman to leave. When Bowman was leaving she punched Walters in the facial area twice.
Bowman left the scene prior to the arrival of troopers. Two counts of harassment were filed against Bowman with District Judge Charles V. Moran of Pottsville, troopers said.
