Slatington Woman's Club announces February's Girl of the Month

The Slatington Woman's Club announces the February Girl of the Month is Kelsey Marie Gallagher of Walnutport, a senior at Northern Lehigh High School.

Kelsey has been a member of the girls' field hockey fall and winter team for six years and of the track and field team for four years. She is also a member of the Spanish Club.

Kelsey has been on the Principals List since 9th grade. She was named MVP for field hockey in 10th and 11th grade. She was 4x800 relay league champion in track and field in 10th grade.

She has been taking dance classes since the age of three, volunteers with the Walnutport Canal Association and enjoys spending time with family and friends and shopping.

Kelsey plans to study and pursue a career in marine biology.

She is the daughter of Eugene P. Gallagher and Barbara J. (Thomas) Gallagher.
