Corey O'Brien guest speaker at next Carbon County Democrats for Change meeting

Find out who the Democratic challengers to incumbent legislators are by attending the next meeting of the Carbon County Democrats for Change (CCDC), which will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening, Feb. 23 in Pepperjacks' Restaurant located at 41 Broadway in Jim Thorpe.

Guests for this meeting will be Corey O'Brien, who is running against Paul Kanjorski for the 11th District seat and a representative from Joe Sestak's office. Sestak is running against Arlen Specter in the Senate race.

Mark your calendars for March 23, which will be "Meet the Candidates" night. All Democratic candidates for local and state positions will be invited to speak and answer questions.

CCDC supports progressive legislation and candidates at the national, state, and local level.
