What Carbon communities will be getting

The state Department of Transportation is releasing $308 million in liquid fuels money a month early to help municipalities clean up from the snow storm that hammered the northeast on Feb. 10.

Here's the breakdown for the $1,593,411.65 headed to Carbon County communities:

Banks Township - $26,518.43

East Penn Township - $116,285.79

Franklin Township - $150,471.70

Kidder Township - $25,916.17

Lausanne Township $5,738.42

Lehigh Township - $17,863.02

Lower Towamensing Township - $102,262.08

Mahoning Township - $143,120.74

Packer Township - $32,357.66

Penn Forest Township - $132,873.98

Towamensing Township - $186,931.04

Beaver Meadows Borough - $17,673.93

Bowmanstown Borough $22,495.56

East Side Borough - $5,254.50

Jim Thorpe Borough - $100,521.60

Lansford Borough - $81,365.92

Lehighton Borough - $106,123.89

Palmerton Borough - $103,057.03

Parryville Borough - $14,945.95

Summit Hill Borough - $67,696.09

Weatherly Borough - $54,587.52

Weissport Borough - $8,700.89

Nesquehoning Borough - $70,649.74

Monroe County communities are in line for a total of $3,814,267.68 and Schuylkill for $4,311,147.50.
